The historic medieval market town of Tewkesbury is situated just 3 miles away, with the beautiful 12th century Tewkesbury Abbey as its focal point. The town is renowned as having one of the best medieval townscapes in England, and holds many festivals each year, including the Medieval Fayre and Battle Re-enactment. There are numerous speciality and antique shops to browse, alongside inns, restaurants and tea-rooms, many with fascinating architecture.

Cheltenham is a superb Spa town with beautiful gardens and magnificent Regency buildings, excellent shopping, and numerous places of interest. The town is renowned for its international festivals of Music, Jazz and Literature amongst others. Cheltenham is also known as the home of National Hunt Racing, the highlight of which is the Cheltenham Gold Cup, held at the Racecourse only 5 miles from the farmhouse.
